Welcome to Mosaic Cardigan Welsh Corgis, a small home breeding/show kennel. Our goals for our breeding program are to produce cardigans of excellent type and wonderful temperament, physically and emotionally sound, to be wonderful companions for life.

We screen our breeding dogs for HD using the PennHip procedure. Breeding stock will also have screenings done on their hearts, thyroid and CERF for eyes. All of our breeding dogs are PRA non-carriers.
We are members of the:
  • Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America
  • Three Trails Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of Kansas City, MO
For over 7 years, Dave and I have owned and shown Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Sue and Charles Harrison and Jan Dickson of Winstonwil, Winbuck's Cardigans have been our mentors for raising and breeding Cardigans. Kim Shira and Leo Eickhoff of Coedwig's Cardigans allowed us the opportunity for our first litter with their wonderful dog Carbon Blue. We are continuing to show and breed our Cardigans. In our spare time, we have also successfully competed in Obedience Trials, taken herding and agility lessons, and even used our dogs for therapy at a nursing home and an elementary school. We would like to thank the numerous Cardigan Welsh Corgi people, a great group of dog enthusiasts, who have helped and encouraged us along the way. And all I can say about the Cardigans is, "They are the greatest!"

We are very excited to announce the planned breeding of Zoey with Rush in April, 2012. See below for further information.

Puppies We are planning a breeding of our CH Mosaic's Jumpin' Black Splash "Zoey" to BISS GCH Regent Midnight Rush RN “Rush” in April, 2012! We hope to have puppies in June, 2012. We wish to thank Heidi Spradling of Regent Cardigan Welsh Corgis for allowing us the privilege of having Rush as the sire for this litter of cardigans. What a special treat for us!

Zoey is a beautiful blue merle bitch with brindle points from our first litter. She is a wonderful companion who is a good friend of everyone she has ever met. She has become an unofficial elementary school mascot for her work as a reading therapy dog. Zoey finished her championship with a 5 point winners bitch award, her third major.

Rush is a very handsome black dog who has outstanding structure, a gorgeous front, nice round bone, a lovely head piece, good rear angles and a nice topline. He has a happy-go-lucky attitude and likes to make people laugh. He earned one of the first Grand Championships and was invited to the Eukanuba National Championship 3 years in a row.

Reservations We are now accepting reservations for the Zoey x Rush litter. We require a $100 deposit to hold your spot on the waiting list. The balance of the price of the puppy is due in full when the puppy is sent home. This $100 fee is fully refundable IF the bitch fails to become pregnant or if something happens to the litter prior to, during, or after whelping. Because there is no guarantee to the number of puppies in a litter we will accept reservations for 6 puppies and others who are interested will be placed on a waiting list if they would like. Sometimes a bitch has a very large litter or a family has had to make a change in their plans due to numerous things, so a puppy would become available at these times.

The waiting list fee is retained if the buyer should change their mind at any point following the initial payment since potential homes for the pups have been referred to other breeders.

We ask anyone who is interested in acquiring one of our puppies to please contact us as we love to learn more about you. (I will be asking questions regarding home life, work schedule, other pets, and expectations, and answer any questions you may have about us). As breeders we want to make certain that our puppies are placed in the best homes we can find for them.
