Our Boys - Tucker, Sherman and Teague
Tucker is our very first cardigan. He is a handsome brindle with a full white collar who is
always very eager to please. At the age of 6 months he was entered in his first conformation show
where he placed 2nd in his class. After a few shows without placing we decided to pull him from the
conformation ring and focus on obedience until he matured. In April of 2006 Tucker was in his first
Rally show and received his first Q’s. Not long after that at the 2006 CWCCA Nationals he qualified
one more time in Rally Novice to finish his RN title. While there he also qualified both days in the
Novice Obedience ring, and quickly finished his CD at a show in St. Louis.
By this time, Tucker had matured and filled out nicely, so he went back to the conformation ring in
Sedalia, MO, where he placed first in his class and was Reserve Winners Dog. Our next show, in Topeka,
KS, was the beginning of a number of Winners Dog and Best of Winners awards. Over a 6 month period,
Tucker was awarded 8 WD and 5 BOW including his two majors to finish his championship on 1/21/2007 in
Des Moines, Iowa, under Judge Judith Goodin.
Tucker will continue in the obedience ring working toward his CDX and UD. He is also a certified therapy
dog and has begun a career helping children to learn to read! He is especially good working with students
with special needs and is credited with helping them make significant improvements in learning and behavior.
Tucker is OFA fair, CERF clear, PRA unaffected, Heart good, thyroid normal, elbows good
Sherman is the fourth addition to our family. He is out of a breeding of Eng.Am CH Kerman Strike
Up the Band "Morgan" and CH Kipperton's Passione-Adagio "Josie". We would like to thank Jacque Schatz
Glenn and Sarah Keth for allowing us to bring this wonderful little guy home with us. He is a young handsome
brindle dog developing into a fine cardigan. He is 1-3/4 years old, quiet, muscular and athletic,
with great movement and potential for conformation, along with amazing herding instinct. He has already earned
8 points in conformation including two majors in his quest for a championship. Watch for him as he continues
competing at shows in the St. Louis area.
Teague is our youngest boy at Mosaic. He is an extremely handsome blue merle dog with the friendliest personality
and the most enthusiasm we've ever seen! He combines the best of both his father, Casper, and mother, Pearl, and attracts
new friends everywhere he goes. As you can see, he has grown into an outstanding cardigan and is a great addition to our kennel.
We want to thank Kim and Mark at Samhain Kennel for allowing Teague to come home with us.
Teague earned his first major in conformation with a 4 point winners dog ribbon at Columbia, MO, and has added 5 more points with
4 winners dog awards combined with 3 best of winners awards. As he continues to mature we expect great things from him.
He gets noticed wherever he goes, including several judges and handlers who have raved over Teague's movement and conformation,
and has already developed quite a following. Look for Teague at shows around the midwest as he continues his climb to a championship.
