Our Girls - Pickles and Zoey
Pickles is our second cardigan. She is a beautiful black and white bitch with tan points
and is our foundation bitch for Mosaic Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Pickles finished her championship over
a 6 month period, beginning with the Heartland Kennel Club show at Purina Farms where Judge Ms Diane
Sprung awarded Pickles her first BOB over specials at the ripe old age of 6 months. From Purina Farms
we headed off to the 2006 CWCCA Nationals where she was in the first cut in breed for 6-9 month olds.
From July through December 2006 Pickles was awarded two 4 point majors with a total of 6 Winners Bitch,
3 Best of Winners, 1 Best of Opposite Sex and 2 Best of Breed over specials. Pickles received her last
2 pts for her championship under Judge Mr. Robert J. Shreve.
In July, 2007, Pickles free whelped 6 gorgeous puppies! There were five gorgeous girls (2 blue merle,
3 tris) and one boy (blue merle). See our Puppies page for pictures of these young adults.
Pickles is Hips good (PennHip - 70%), PRA unaffected, CERF normal, Elbows good, Heart normal, Thyroid normal.
Zoey is our third cardigan. This energetic girl is a sweetheart from our very first litter at
Mosaic Cardigan Welsh Corgis. She is a strikingly beautiful blue merle bitch with tan points.
Zoey completed her championship with her third major, a 5 point winners bitch. We will continue to show Zoey on a
limited basis in conformation and have started training for obedience to utilize her unbelievable atheletic
ability and sweet personality. Zoey also spends a lot of time with me at an elementary school where the children absolutely love her.
She actually had a part in one of the school productions and is quite famous with the students and their parents.
Zoey knows no strangers and is so gentle when around children as well as older adults in nursing homes
we visit. In the near future Zoey will be assisting a young student with special needs to learn to
interact with other students. Needless to say, we are thrilled with our little Zoey.
