Puppies are growing up! Pickles gave birth to six healthy babies on July 21, 2007! We had FIVE girls (2 blue merle, 3 tris) and one boy (blue merle). Here are pictures of three of them at 6 months of age. They have developed into very outstanding corgi's as you can see. Look for them at shows very soon!.
We are very excited about the breeding of CH Winbuck’s Van Lear Rose (Pickles) to CH Coedwigs Carbon Blue ROMG BISS BIS! Our sincere thanks to Sue and Charles Harrison and Jan Dickson for allowing us to have this beautiful little girl in our lives as well as answering the many, many, many questions we have had about cardigans in general and breeding. We also wish to thank Kim Shira and Leo for allowing us the privilege of having Carbon as the sire of our very first litter of cardigans. What a special treat for us! Pickles is a beautiful black and white bitch with brindle points. She constantly amazes me with how quickly she catches on to the novice training and the herding as well as her eagerness to please. Pickles finished her championship in 6 months of showing with 6 WB, 3 BOW, 1 BOS and 2 BOB over specials. CH Coedwig’s Carbon Blue ROMG BISS BIS (www.coedwig.com) is a very handsome blue merle who has been a top producer of many quality cardigans over the past years.
