Puppies We have successfully bred CH Mosaic's Jumpin' Black Splash (Zoey) to CH Telltails Baewyn Jim Dandy (JD) in late January, 2011! The six puppies were born on March 23, 2011. We had three girls (2 blue merle, 1 black) and three boys (1 blue merle, 2 black). Now that 4 of the puppies have made their sad farewells from our home to continue with their wonderful new families, we are left with only 2 great bundles of energy that are continuing to grow and develop. After meeting the new owners of the puppies we are amazed at our good fortune in finding such great people to continue caring for the precious puppies! We are left with Angus and Piper to continue showing their development at 4 months of age. They are getting bigger and acting like typical puppies - walking sets of jaws looking for anything to chew. And they have that inate ability to cheer people with their mere presence. We wish to thank Paula O'Donnell for allowing us the privilege of having JD as the sire for this litter of cardigans. What a special treat for us!

Zoey is a beautiful blue merle bitch with brindle points from our first litter. She is a wonderful companion who is a good friend of everyone she has ever met. She has become an unofficial elementary school mascot for her work as a reading therapy dog. Zoey finished her championship with a 5 point winners bitch award, her third major.

CH Telltails Baewyn Jim Dandy is a very handsome black dog with brindle points who earned back to back 4 point majors his first weekend out. He was then awarded as winners dog and best of winners at the Cardigan Welsh Corgi National Speciality in April, 2010!

Winter 2011/2012 or Spring 2012

Plans for either breeding Raven, Coedwig Mosaic Coal Black Mattie, or a repeat breeding with Zoey, are also in the planning stages. We ask anyone who is interested in acquiring one of our puppies to please contact us as we love to learn more about you. I will be asking questions regarding home life, work schedule, other pets, and expectations, and answer any questions you may have about us. As breeders we want to make certain that our puppies are placed in the best homes we can find for them.

New Puppies!

On a typical summer day this year, around 98F, high humidity, and full sunshine, we decided to give Piper and Angus some practice walking on a leash. After all, their show careers are just around the corner. They were 4 months old and full of energy, but puppy teeth falling out, ears down, hating the heat, and just thrilled to death by the nasty leash and collar. Despite all of these challenges, they showed great promise with their movement. The Pied Piper is already preparing to lead those rats out of town with her beautiful movement and spunky personality. You better get out of her way when she wants to get somewhere! The Black Angus showed that he is getting ready to herd the other black cattle in the ring, although he prefers the pace of posing for bait! After showing their stuff, we brought out Teague to give them a lessen from a veteran pro.

Below we proudly present Mosaic's That Ol' Black Magic, "Angus" and Mosaic's Ebony Rose, "Piper" in an early attempt at walking and posing on our driveway.
Black Angus

He is starting to look bigger and older with the most beautiful black coat and cute brindle cheeks. He enjoys playing, eating, being held, licking, and eating. He can stand on a table remarkably well for a 4 month old!
Pied Piper

She has developed a beautiful tricolor while retaining the classic Cardi energy and slyness. She continually chases Angus, hoards the toys and finds fun things to do. She is a real long strider for such a little puppy and can really move out!
Teague

Since he still acts 6 months old, it is only fitting to see him demonstrate to the other puppies how to stand to impress a judge. Teague has also become a favorite dog to play with while mentoring the young pups.
